Abstract
The first study of samples from bogs (Privolzhskaya hills, Penza region) and Polistovo-Lovatsky sphagnous tract within Rdeisk State National reserve has revealed 33 Navicula s. str. sp. All studied species in this paper are illustrated with original photomicrographs.
