Peponia fenneriae sp. nov. (Bacillariophyta) from Middle Eocene (Far East, Russia)

Abstract

New species of genus Peponia Greville (1863) is described. New species found in Middle Eocene deposits of Kronotzkii Bay of East Kamchatka (North West Pacific Ocean) may be an index of the Middle Eocene age.
