Morphological, chorological and ecological data are given for the new and regionally rare diatoms of Ukrainian algal flora. Short characteristics and microphotographs are given for the each of new and interesting diatom species, which were found in periphytic habitats of the basins of regional landscape park “Nyzhnyovorsklyansky”. 30 species were firstly recorded for the Ukrainian Forest-Steppe zone, 6 – for the Left-bank Forest-Steppe region. Extended morphological characteristics are given for the 6 species which were new for the algal flora of Ukraine: Caloneis macedonica Hust., Encyonema lange-bertalotii Krammer, E. vulgare Krammer, Navicula heimansioides Lange-Bert., N. streckerae Lange-Bert. & Witkowski in Witkowski et al., Placoneis minor (Grunow) Lange-Bertalot in Metzeltin et al.
